Key Responsibilities:
* Lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion, for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
* Provide high-quality client service, including advising on accounting and audit matters, and building strong, lasting client relationships.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge to support their development.
* Identify areas for efficiency improvements and propose practical solutions to management and clients.
* Assist in business development activities by identifying potential opportunities and participating in proposals and presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with a strong background in audit and accounting.
* Proven experience in leading audit assignments in public practice, demonstrating technical expertise and a thorough understanding of audit techniques.
* Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulations and standards.
* Proficiency in audit and accounting software applications.
