Description How will you contribute? You will report to the General Manager and give direction and monitor performance ensuring the site runs efficiently and effectively with direct responsibility for full end to end activities on site, taking accountability for overall productivity of the operation. The ability to build strong working relationships with other key stakeholders ensuring first class operational performance. You will ensure effective communication throughout the operational leadership team; communicating planned requirements providing information on performance, company news and procedures. Be able to develop strong relationships with the People leadership team ensuring the delivery of an effective people plan across the site, and ensuring the best talent is in place to deliver business objectives and deliver a robust succession plan for current and future key roles. You will strive to ensure a best in class HSE performance is achieved and that the site operates in line with all company and customer procedures and requirements relating to Health and Safety Be able to develop and maintain a high-performance culture across the site through motivating and guiding the leadership team to deliver operational excellence and continuously meet performance and productivity targets on a day to day basis. You will lead, develop, and inspire your direct reports to ensure that the team is performance focussed and engaged, so that business goals can be achieved whilst maximising individual’s potential. You will drive a continuous improvement programme, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will deputise for the site GM, as required. What will you bring? Be a proven effective communicator with strong people skills to drive a positive culture on site The ability to demonstrate senior management experience in high volume, customer service driven operations. Have experience of working closely with clients and developing effective working relationships, ideally in a similar role. You must have the energy, determination, and commitment to operate in an environment where regular customer contact and scrutiny is the norm and effective customer communication is essential. Experience of leading successful change management processes and driving engagement. Ideally be inquisitive, innovative and can think ‘outside the box’ to deliver an exceptional service to the client. You will have excellent commercial acumen – understand the dynamics of both ‘open/ closed book’ contracts & ensure ongoing focus on bottom line performance. Have well-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels. The ability to manage conflict and tough conversations including complex IR issues. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver high performance through a culture of accountability and ownership. Have an agile approach to strategy and planning with a proven experience of adapting operational plans to changing customer requirements. You will have strong planning and analytical skills.
