The Role
Are you passionate about transforming the lives of young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and those with additional needs? An exciting opportunity has arisen in our brand-new Future Focus Centre for a dynamic and experienced lecturer to lead our Future Focus (NEETS) & Supported Internship programmes. Your role involves delivering high-quality, engaging, and impactful learning experiences, and ensuring outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment that lead to positive progression outcomes.
As a Lecturer at our Future Focus Centre, you will mainly teach on NEET provision 16-18 courses, supporting individuals who are not engaged in education, employment, or training, and helping them reintegrate into these areas. You will provide personalized educational support, mentoring, and guidance to help NEET individuals acquire skills, qualifications, and confidence to pursue further education, employment, or vocational training.
What are we looking for?
You should be educated to degree level or equivalent and possess a recognized teaching qualification or be willing to undertake in-service training. Previous experience working with learners with learning difficulties/disabilities is essential.
