We are looking for a female Personal Assistant for a 16-year-old girl who enjoys Karate, going to the beach, swimming (though she is still learning), and has recently started Rangers. She loves spending time on her tablet and phone playing games but can get easily bored. The role involves accompanying her to activities like swimming, cinema, and traveling by bus or Metro. She has five types of epilepsy and can become emotionally exhausted or frustrated in large crowds. Personal care tasks include managing pull-ups and pads during certain times of the month. She has sensitivities to fire alarms and disabled toilet alarms due to past scares. She loves dogs; while there isn't a resident dog, a friend's dog visits, so dog-friendly candidates are preferred.
Beyond her medical needs, she is a young lady with a great sense of humor, who is active in after-school clubs and activities. There is a genuine occupational requirement for the candidate to be male or female, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Equality Act 2010.
This vacancy will close once a suitable candidate is appointed. At the start of employment, the candidate must have permission to work in the UK.
