The Role: The Communications Assistant is responsible for supporting the communications team in the creation and delivery of marketing communications projects to build Care UK’s reputation.
*This role also has the option of being undertaken alongside an apprenticeship from The Cambridge Marketing College.
Key Responsibilities:
* To draft news releases, articles and digital copy on topics that are identified as key to achieving Care UK’s objectives.
* Support the delivery of the annual awards program by preparing material for entries and liaising with freelancers where appropriate.
* To coordinate matched funding requests and assist in the setting up of events and publicity opportunities linked to this and other corporately driven charitable activities.
* Support the Communications team’s management of in-bound media enquiries.
* To support the communications team by evaluating media coverage to produce and overall view of successful coverage achieved of reactive and proactive stories.
* As requested, undertake other ad hoc activity under the management of the SCM or other senior members of the marketing department.
