We are currently seeking two permanent Specialist Doctors in Adult Community Service Division (Rossane House). The post holder will provide medical expertise and support to the multidisciplinary team working under supervision of consultant psychiatrists based in the quadrant. The appointed candidate would have excellent communication skills and experience of working within multidisciplinary settings. Weekly team meetings, daily hand over and review meetings will be required for all patients in crisis. The Adult Community Mental Health Service (ACMHS) team provides care to the residents of Welwyn Garden City and the surrounding areas. They also provide support to GPs in the local area through GP plus (Enhanced primary care mental health service). This is facilitated through weekly meetings with GP plus practitioners to triage their referrals and provide specialist Psychiatric input. 2 years experience within psychiatry is an essential criteria for specialty doctor posts, should you not hold this experience you may interviewed and considered for an alternative posting which will different in grade and pay. To liaise effectively with primary care and mainstream mental health services. To have regular clinical supervision with the consultant psychiatrist.
