Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a high-impact Finance Transformation programme within a leading global asset management organisation. This is a senior role requiring proven delivery experience across Finance and Technology, with the ability to manage a collection of projects that are at varying degrees of progress and currently lack robust project structure.
You will be responsible for shaping, structuring, and driving delivery of multiple finance-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with a broader Corporate Functions Target Operating Model and other established change programmes. The role requires excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and programme management skills, as well as a working knowledge of Finance functions and transformation delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of a diverse set of finance projects, introducing effective governance frameworks and delivery standards where currently lacking.
* Lead programme planning and structuring efforts, ensuring clear timelines, resource plans, and delivery milestones are established and maintained.
* Build compelling business cases and lead benefit definition, tracking, and financial accountability throughout the programme lifecycle.
* Engage with senior leaders across Finance, Technology, and Corporate Functions to ensure strategic alignment and stakeholder buy-in.
* Act as the link between multiple workstreams and wider organisational programmes, managing dependencies and promoting integration across initiatives.
* Partner with global data and technology teams to embed consistent practices and support a scalable operating model.
* Design and roll out new operating models, improving how people, processes, and systems work together in the future state.
* Provide clear and concise reporting to stakeholders at all levels, communicating progress, risks, and escalations as needed.
* Ensure the overall programme is delivered on time and within budget, while keeping quality and outcomes in focus.
* Tackle delivery challenges early, using structured problem-solving approaches to maintain momentum and resolve blockers.
* Support and coordinate a matrixed team of project professionals and subject matter experts across functions and geographies.
* Encourage collaboration, consistency, and accountability across all project contributors to drive successful outcomes.
Required Experience and Skills:
* Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary transformation programmes, ideally involving both Finance and Technology.
* Experience in financial services, with a preference for asset management environments.
* Strong programme governance and delivery planning capabilities.
* Skilled in senior stakeholder management and able to influence decisions at board and executive level.
