Lead Full Stack Engineer
AXA Health invites applications for an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer. This role will help drive the delivery of our digital roadmap and support the transformation of customer‑facing digital services.
Work arrangement
Work from home at least two days a week (40%), with the possibility to increase to three days a week (60%). You will primarily work from one of the AXA UK office locations (Leeds, Middlesbrough, Bristol, Tunbridge Wells, or Bournemouth) and may attend client or industry events as required.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead an agile engineering team, inspire excellence, set best practices, and manage delivery outcomes according to the product roadmap.
* Design, develop and support integrations around our strategic customer platform, focusing mainly on frontend technologies with scope to work on backend services.
* Act as line manager and mentor for team members.
* Promote continuous improvement across technology areas and the wider IT department.
What you’ll bring
* Proven experience leading high‑performing engineering teams.
* Expertise delivering high‑quality, well‑tested integration solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
* Ability to deliver complex solutions within time and budget constraints.
* Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code on Azure DevOps and Azure platform.
* Good understanding of current and emerging technologies.
* Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions and business requirements into technical design.
* Experience with Microsoft C#/.NET APIs, serverless functions and messaging workflows on Microsoft Azure.
* Desireable experience integrating with Salesforce.
