About you
* Recent experience in a fast-paced finance environment
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
* Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with accounting software
* A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of prioritising tasks effectively
* Ability to work independently and within a team
What you'll do
* Process supplier, agency, and subcontractor invoices accurately and efficiently
* Manage weekly/monthly supplier and subcontractor payment runs, including reconciliations and ledger postings
* Maintain compliant records regarding VAT, CIS, and RCT, including managing Reverse Charge VAT
* Allocate correct project and cost codes in line with construction job costing procedures
* Liaise professionally with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve payment and tax-related queries
* Support with ad-hoc finance tasks and other duties as required, including call handling and data provision, adhering to GDPR and company policies
