From early-stage feasibility and planning to design, construction management, and long-term operations, your work will span the full project lifecycle. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that impact communities and the environment.
You will join a team of nearly 600 water experts working on high-profile projects, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and diverse challenges. At Jacobs, you’ll contribute to a movement to redefine what’s possible in the water industry.
Responsibilities
* Lead multidisciplinary civil engineering projects from concept to completion
* Deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions across water infrastructure
* Oversee technical delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
* Demonstrate exemplary health, safety and wellbeing management in line with Jacobs’ BeyondZero approach
* Develop and nurture client relationships to support growth within the water sector
What you’ll need
* Progressive experience in civil engineering with detailed design and design-and-build execution for water and wastewater projects
* Solid knowledge of civil engineering principles and project lifecycle management
* Familiarity with UK water sector regulations and safety protocols
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Member of ICE or CIWEM
* Understanding of current health, safety and welfare legislation
* Commitment to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
