Kitchen Assistant\n(Cleaning)
4 hours\nper week, Friday 11am – 3pm, 38 weeks per year (term\ntime)
£2,177 per\nannum

You will support\nthe lecturers in charge by maintaining high standards of\ncleanliness and quality of resources, through correct cleaning\npractises within the workshops and\nkitchens.
Whilst\ncomplying with the Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations,\nyou will assist the students in enhancing their\nquality of environment by ensuring that the correct cleaning\nprocedures are implemented for clearing down their area\nas well as assisting with the general washing\nup, cleaning and sharing the responsibility of all\nlaundry.
You will\nwork independently, using your initiative as part of a team, and\ntherefore be flexible, adaptable, and proactive in supporting the\nneeds of the area. You will have good communication skills, good\nunderstanding in meeting a range of students needs and the ability\nto work with a range of staff, in line with our College ‘Ways of\nworking’
