About the Role: We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and versatile Teaching, Learning, and Student Experience Coordinator (Information, Advice and Guidance) to join our dedicated Information, Advice and Guidance team in the School of Engineering. This one-year full-time role involves 35 hours per week. You will possess the ability to inspire and motivate a team while demonstrating a solid understanding of academic and student experience activities relating to postgraduate taught and undergraduate education. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our students whilst fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, such as academics, the Students’ Union, Careers Service, and other School Teaching, Learning and Student Experience teams. You will be involved in activities including, but not limited to, line management and coordination of team workload and priorities; coordination of the School’s large student summer internships scheme; Student Support Hub management; exam breakfast organisation; coordination of Welcome Week activities and communications; organisation of Graduation prizes and awards; student comms coordination; Academic Advisor allocation administration; organisation of support for the School’s large number of societies; events coordination; coordination of PASS and Student Voice Committee (SVC) support. This role offers a hybrid working option. However, please note that as a student-facing position, you will be required to work on campus for a minimum of 3 days per week, with the possibility of additional on-site days as dictated by business needs. There may on occasion be work that happens outside of core hours so flexibility is essential.
