I'm delighted to be working on behalf of a global financial client on a business analyst role. This role sits within the transaction monitoring team, part of the non‑financial risk management function. The team delivers conduct‑focused surveillance across global markets trading activity, partnering closely with Technology and Quantitative Analytics to build and run advanced detection solutions. You will work on a new Large Language Model tool designed to extract and structure transaction data from chat and voice transcripts. The focus of the role is to drive quality, accuracy, and benefit realisation from the tool as it is embedded into the operating model. Key Responsibilities: As part of the delivery team, you will take ownership of output quality and measurable value. Your responsibilities will include: Drive Output Quality: Own the feedback loop, including error identification, ground‑truth creation, and prompt management, to ensure outputs consistently meet or exceed agreed quality targets. Validate Data Integrity: Cross‑reference extracted chat data against trade table data to confirm accuracy, identify discrepancies, and highlight data quality risks. Investigate and Prevent Errors: Systematically investigate errors, document findings, and perform root‑cause analysis to reduce repeat issues and improve model performance Partner Across Functions: Work closely with Transaction Monitoring, Technology, and other stakeholders to continuously enhance Falcon's capability and usability Track and Quantify Benefits: Measure and report benefits realised, including re‑bookings identified, analyst hours saved, and efficiency gains delivered by Falcon Report Performance and Impact: Monitor key quality metrics and provide clear, concise updates on progress, impact, and benefit realisation to stakeholders To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills/experience: At least 5 years operating as a business analyst in a banking environment Strong understanding of market operations, trading workflows, orders, and executions. Comfortable interpreting data and understanding OMS and Trades Table structures Proven ability to diagnose issues in structured data outputs Confident working across Technology, Transaction Monitoring, Trading, and Sales teams, with the ability to explain issues and outcomes clearly.
