These roles will support the development and delivery of health improvement programmes which reduce health inequalities across Grampian.
The appointees will champion health equity by working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and communities to ensure equitable access to services and interventions. With a focus on community-led approaches, these roles involve assessing health needs, applying evidence-based practice, and ensuring lived experience informs decision-making. The successful candidates will contribute to testing and evaluating new ways of involving people and building lasting relationships. One post will be based in Public Health and will focus on strengthening and expanding a network of community champions. The other post will be based in Public Involvement and will focus on establishing lived experience panels for key health priorities.
These posts are part of the Putting People First programme - NHS Grampian’s new approach to how we listen to and involve people. These posts have been funded through the generous donations made to NHS Grampian Charity, the official charity of the health board.
