Health & Safety Manager — Salary up to £55,000 + Benefits • Location: Staffordshire. Our client, an established manufacturing business based in Staffordshire, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead site health and safety across a workforce of around 300 employees. The role focuses on driving a strong safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and embedding group health and safety policies. Reporting into senior leadership, you will manage one direct report and operate within a paperless H&S system.
Responsibilities
* Undertake risk assessments across production and engineering areas.
* Lead accident investigation and root cause analysis.
* Manage COSHH and ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER requirements.
* Lead internal audits, site surveys, and ISO 45001 implementation.
* Deliver safety briefings and training; produce KPI and performance reports.
* Influence behavioural change at all levels to embed a positive safety culture.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
* 3–5 years of health and safety experience within a significant employer.
* Experience using SharePoint-based systems and incident reporting tools such as QUOR is preferred.
