Lead Packaging Engineer Technology Services | Warrington Full Time on Site
We are seeking an experienced Lead Packaging Engineer to take ownership of the end-to-end application packaging lifecycle across physical and virtual Windows desktop environments.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on defining standards, improving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and driving quality across application packaging and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the full packaging lifecycle (discovery → testing → UAT → production).
* Define and enforce packaging standards, QA controls, and documentation requirements.
* Ensure consistency across physical and virtual Windows desktop estates.
* Maintain and optimise packaging and deployment toolsets.
* Drive process improvements and team efficiencies.
* Support complex packaging requirements and strategic deployment decisions.
* Manage application lifecycle control (version currency, retirement, licensing compliance).
* Collaborate with Architecture, PMO, operational teams and business stakeholders.
* Lead and support team members in delivering high-quality packages within SLA.
