Overview
Community Integrated Care is seeking relief staff for a Support Worker role in Aberchirder. You will support two young men with learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes. The young men are outgoing, enjoy going to the movies and theatre, playing football, and socialising with others. You will help them do day-to-day activities and enable them to lead fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making a positive impact on their lives.
* Provide personal care and support with household tasks (cooking and cleaning) and social activities.
* Receive full, paid training and ongoing development to support your career.
* Adhere to company values and deliver high-quality, consistent care and support.
Requirements
* A UK Driving License is essential for this role.
* Patience, empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others; a strong work ethic; reliability; honesty; determination.
Shifts and Location
* Relief staff are being recruited. Typical shift patterns include: 9am – 9am (sleepover), 9am – 3pm (weekends), 4:30pm – 9:30pm (weekdays).
* Location: Aberchirder, Fraserburgh and Portsoy area, Scotland.
