Vanilla Underground is an award-winning, fast-growing e-commerce business bringing pop culture and licensed products to fans and families worldwide.
We sell across multiple channels — Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Next, Matalan, and wholesale — and operate from two warehouse sites totalling over 85,000 sq ft.
To support our continued growth, we’re looking for a technical, structured, and forward-thinking Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and implement smarter systems across both sites.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our distribution facilities and for driving continuous improvement across all operational areas.
This person will act as the engine room of operational stability — solving problems, improving systems, and keeping both sites running smoothly. They’ll bring structure, logic, and ownership to a fast-moving environment and will play a key role in helping us scale efficiently.
You’ll oversee all warehouse activities — inbound, outbound, storage, and dispatch — while introducing new tools, data systems, and workflows that enhance productivity, visibility, and accuracy across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily warehouse operations across two sites (72k sq ft and 13k sq ft)
* Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams to achieve operational targets
* Implement and optimise systems and workflows to improve accuracy, productivity, and communication
* Plan inbound stock arrivals and coordinate outbound dispatches across all channels (B2C and B2B)
* Maintain stock integrity through effective controls and regular cycle counts
* Monitor performance data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement
* Work closely with the Operations Manager and Head of Business Development to align systems and processes
* Support the roll-out of new technologies and automation tools to enhance efficiency
* Uphold health and safety standards and lead by example on site compliance
* Contribute to long-term space and resource planning to support peak trading and future growth
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager within a high-volume e-commerce environment
* Strong technical mindset — confident using and improving WMS, scanning, and inventory systems
* Skilled in data-driven decision-making and process improvement
* Excellent communicator, able to bridge between technical, operational, and business teams
* Hands-on leader who enjoys being visible, proactive, and team-focused
* Strong planning and organisational skills with a solutions-oriented approach
* Comfortable working within a 7-day, 14-hour operational framework

Desirable Experience
* Experience managing multi-site warehouse operations
* Involvement in implementing new warehouse or stock management systems
* Knowledge of e-commerce marketplaces and B2B distribution
* Familiarity with Amazon FBA or similar dispatch models
