We are seeking a compassionate and committed SEND Specialist Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive school community. In this role, you will support pupils aged 3–19 with complex and profound learning difficulties, delivering a highly personalised curriculum tailored to their individual needs and abilities. You will work within small teaching groups that embrace diverse learning styles, ensuring pupils feel safe, confident, and motivated to engage in both learning and everyday life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that reflect each pupil’s needs, interests, and abilities
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support pupils’ academic and personal development
* Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers to maximise pupil progress
* Adapt teaching approaches to support pupils with ADHD, Autism, PMLD, and other complex needs
* Recognise and celebrate progress and achievement across all areas of learning
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified Teacher with experience working in SEND settings
* Strong ability to differentiate and adapt learning for pupils with complex needs
* Calm, resilient, and empathetic, with a positive approach to behaviour management
* Committed to promoting independence, confidence, and teamwork in every pupil
