Were seeking an experienced Senior Program Controls Analyst to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a major commercial programme. This is a high-impact position where youll provide expert planning, scheduling, cost control, Earned Value reporting, and governance supportensuring programme teams are working to a robust baseline underpinned by accurate data and strong analytical insight.
As a senior member of the team, youll help embed consistent controls practices, build capability, and drive data-led decision-making across the programme. You will also contribute to shaping a growing programme controls function, acting as a subject matter expert and coaching early-career analysts.
What youll be doing
* Develop and maintainintegrated programme schedules, ensuring robust logic, dependencies, and critical paths.
* Performschedule analysis, progress measurement, and performance forecasting.
* Conduct detailedcost variance analysisandEarned Value Managementassessments.
* Lead the consolidation of schedule, cost, risk, and milestone data into accurate, timelymanagement reporting.
* Maintain and analyseRAIDinformation, highlighting emerging risks and variances early.
* Ensure the programme aligns with organisationalcontrols standardsand governance expectations.
* Contribute to the development and rollout of improvedcontrols processes, tools, and templates.
* Demonstrate high standards of professionalism, analytical rigour, and effective stakeholder engagement.
What youll bring
* A strong background inproject/programme controls, planning, PMO, cost engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
* Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools (e.g.,MS Project,Deltek Open Plan).
* Excellent analytical skills, with strong numerical and data-interpretation capability.
* Proven ability toexplain controls conceptsclearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* High attention to detail and a commitment todata accuracyand quality.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience inEarned Value Management.
* Proficiency withPower BIor similar visualisation tools.
* Experience working incomplex, engineering, aerospace, or regulatedprogramme environments.
* Professional project management or controls certifications (e.g., APM, PMI, EV-related) are desirable.
