Job Description
3. Process invoices accurately and efficiently within the accounting system.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
5. Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring compliance with company policies.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
7. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payment queries.
8. Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
9. Ensure adherence to financial procedures and controls.
10. Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable professional should have:
11. Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role within the FMCG industry.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
16. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
