Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Foreperson to oversee the day-to-day operations on this residential building site. The successful candidate will initially take charge of a development of 18 new homes in Coalisland, with progression to lead the delivery of 40 new homes in Cookstown once the project moves forward. You will also have a Company Vehicle plus mileage paid.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, trades, and subcontractors
* Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with building regulations
* Manage site schedules, ensuring targets and deadlines are met
* Monitor quality of workmanship and materials used
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
* Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
* Enforce health and safety policies across the site
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Proven experience as a Foreperson / Site Supervisor in residential construction
* Strong knowledge of building processes, standards, and regulations
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively
* Strong focus on health and safety compliance
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work between Coalisland and Cookstown
Desirable Skills
* Experience working on residential and housing projects
