Looking for a **Fleet Training Superintendent** to join our teamThis is a role with real influence. As part of our national Training and Marine Standards function, you’ll help build the skills, confidence and readiness of Masters, Mates and Check Masters across Australia. You’ll work closely with port teams, simulator specialists, technical SMEs and the Marine and Audit Team to strengthen operational performance and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.Reporting to the **Regional Marine Manager** based in Newcastle, NSW, your key responsibilities will include: To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:Experience as a Tug Master on ASD, tractor, transverse or offshore towage vessels.Offshore towage experience as a Master or Mate, supported by a minimum Master <45NC qualification. At least five years of towage experience, including exposure to emergency and escort towage operations.Strong knowledge of vessel operations, simulation techniques and practical training facilitation.Working knowledge of marine systems, standards and expectations across harbour and offshore operations. Experience developing training materials or delivering simulator-based programs (highly regarded). Excellent time management, organisation and the ability to work independently while supporting a dispersed team. and engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with crews, Svitzer is a people company.
