Your Mission
* To be responsible for the management and operational delivery of the Children’s Home.
* To oversee the implementation of standards as required by OFSTED.
* To support in the registration process of this Children’s Home.
* To lead regulatory inspections, ensuring the service is high-quality and evidenced based during inspection with support from the Responsible Individual.
* To successfully achieve a minimum of ‘Good’ inspection rating.
* Be a part of the on-call system.
Requirements
* Level 5 Diplomain Leadership for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
* 2+ years’ experiencemanaging an OFSTED-regulated children’s home.
* Great expertisein EBD/LD care and safeguarding.
* A leadership style that’sboth compassionate and decisive.
* Excellent knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework
* Experience of working with children at a managerial level
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of operational management within children’s homes
* A working understanding of relevant legislation and policies, such as Children and Families Act, Children’s Act, Working Together to Safeguard Children
* Knowledge of care standards and the requirements of OFSTED
* Experience of leading OFSTED inspections, with a minimum of "Good" ratings
