Children’s Registered Manager – Brand New 5-Bed EBD/LD Home – Kettering
Location:Kettering
Salary:£55,000 – £60,000 + £5,000 Joining Bonus + + Quarterly Bonuses
Provider Type:Family-Run, Passionate About Trauma-Informed Care


Hours of work: 40 hours per week (Permanent - Full Time)
Annual Leave: 33 days per year (including bank holidays)

Our lovely client is opening abrand-new, purpose-built children’s homein Kettering for young people with emotional and learning disabilities – and are seeking aRegistered Managerto shape its future. This is your chance to:

* Lead a dedicated teamdelivering trauma-informed care that changes lives.

Your Mission


* To be responsible for the management and operational delivery of the Children’s Home.
* To oversee the implementation of standards as required by OFSTED.
* To support in the registration process of this Children’s Home.
* To lead regulatory inspections, ensuring the service is high-quality and evidenced based during inspection with support from the Responsible Individual.
* To successfully achieve a minimum of ‘Good’ inspection rating.
* Be a part of the on-call system.


Requirements



* Level 5 Diplomain Leadership for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
* 2+ years’ experiencemanaging an OFSTED-regulated children’s home.
* Great expertisein EBD/LD care and safeguarding.
* A leadership style that’sboth compassionate and decisive.
* Excellent knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework
* Experience of working with children at a managerial level
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of operational management within children’s homes
* A working understanding of relevant legislation and policies, such as Children and Families Act, Children’s Act, Working Together to Safeguard Children
* Knowledge of care standards and the requirements of OFSTED
* Experience of leading OFSTED inspections, with a minimum of "Good" ratings
