Company Accountant
We are looking for a qualified Company Accountantwho has significant experience working within a manufacturing environment. You will head up the Finance team of 4, working as part of the SMT of this hugely successful SME business. You will be a hands on Accountant, with a 'can do' attitude and desire to work closely with the Board to progress the business even further. It's a superb team, with lovely people and is a great opportunity for the right person.
The Role:
Provide financial support / information and analysis to the business to enable relevant commercial and operational decisions to be made.
Working with the Finance and Manufacturing teams to create transparency of manufacturing variances, identify risks, eliminate inefficiencies and reporting for the month end close.
Improve business controls throughout site.
Lead, manage, develop, coordinate the accounting team.
Customer and credit risk management.
Ownership of providing quarterly forecasts and yearly budgets as well as other financial reports/presentations.
Partnering with site budget owners to ensure delivery of financial results to target.
Helping the site to deliver its investment promises and track against the site KPI’s.
Review and approve inventory write off and provisions.
Support the annual statutory audit and accounts preparation.Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
CIMA, ACCAor ACA qualified essential.
Significant experience working within a Finance team within a manufacturing environment.
Advanced Excel user.Working Hours and benefits:
07:45 - 17:00 Mon to Thurs, 08:30 - 12:30 Fridays (39 hours)
