1. Oversee the Permanent President of Service Inquiries (PPSI) team and deliver the Army's statutory Service Inquiry and Non-Statutory Inquiry processes on behalf of the Single Service Inquiry Coordinator (Army). 2. Oversee the Army's input to Coronial Inquests with pan-Defence stakeholders and act as Army campaign manager for sensitive inquests. 3. Provide Preventing Future Death (PFD) statement evidence at Coroner’s Inquests and be prepared to be the Army’s spokesperson where required. 4. Oversee all aspects of the Bereavement and Aftercare Support (BAS) Team in delivering the Army’s casualty notification service and Bereavement Aftercare to NoK. 5. Engage in and advise on sensitive and high-profile BAS casework, liaising with Army Sec, JCCC, PM(A), DSCU, Vets (UK), DIU, Army Comms, DSSec and DSA as necessary. 6. Oversee the content and delivery of CNO and VO training, manage contracts for soft skills delivery and provision of actors for the VO course, and present on Adjts, SUC, and Army Chaplains training courses. 7. Ensure coherence across the JMCs in the implementation of policy and the management of CNOs and VOs. 8. Deliver operational repatriations for the Army (Op PABBAY). 9. Attend the Casualty & Compassionate Working Group, and update and promulgate changes in notification and/or casualty procedures to JMCs, CNO and VO training, CNO and VO handbooks and AGAI 81. 10. Oversee the Debrief Workshops for CNOs and VOs, promulgating the key issues as lessons to improve VO training and the support provided to bereaved families.
