As Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Registered Manager, leading a team of care staff, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are delivered. Key Responsibilities of the Team Manager: Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the children’s home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing high-quality care. Lead, support, and motivate a team of care staff, fostering a positive and supportive working environment. Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional development. Promote a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and professional development within the home. Liaise with external professionals and families to ensure effective communication and holistic care for the young people in our care. Step in as the acting Registered Manager when needed, providing leadership and strategic direction. Qualifications and Requirements: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is highly desirable. Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within a children’s residential setting. Strong understanding of child protection, safeguarding procedures, and the regulatory framework for children’s homes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. A passion for improving the lives of young people and a commitment to delivering the best possible care.
