Switchboard Management: Handling a high volume of telephone enquiries, directing calls to the relevant departments, and taking accurate messages for teaching and support staff. Student Interaction: Assisting students with day-to-day enquiries, managing late arrivals, and coordinating the collection of students for external appointments. Administrative Support: Assisting the wider office team with clerical tasks, including the sorting and distribution of post, data entry on systems like Arbor or SIMS, and the preparation of school mailshots. Emergency Coordination: Acting as a key link in the school’s communication chain during fire drills or medical emergencies, ensuring emergency services and staff are directed correctly. Visitor Liaison: Coordinating the arrival of guest speakers, contractors, and supply teachers, ensuring they have the necessary information and access to provide a smooth service to the school.
