Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Brake Press Operative on behalf of a well-established and reputable manufacturing company based in the East Kent area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business on either a temp-to-perm or permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Setting and operating a brake press machine to produce metal components to exact specifications
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings
* Performing quality checks on finished parts
* Adjusting machine settings as needed
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience operating a brake press machine in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* A proactive and reliable attitude
