Key Responsibilities - Electrical Controls Design Engineer
Develop equipment concepts, schemes, and detailed designs (GA drawings, BOMs, panel layouts)
Produce PLC, HMI, servo, and robot code (Rockwell RSLogix & Siemens essential)
Create clear, accurate, cost-effective technical documentation
Test and commission electrical/control systems
Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers
Support worldwide customer sites – installation, commissioning, troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with H&S, ISO, and CE Marking standards
Experience/Qualifications - Electrical Controls Design Engineer
BSc or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
5+ years electrical design experience (packaging/automation preferred)
2+ years in similar controls design role
Strong AutoCAD Electrical proficiency
Proven PLC programming & servo/robotics experience
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Full driving licence & passport – willing to travel globally
