We are seeking a dedicated Asbestos Surveyor to join our team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for: Conducting regular inspections of known asbestos-containing materials across council properties. Maintaining and updating asbestos records using our Property Asset Management System (Concerto) and AutoCAD systems. Reviewing asbestos reports, updating registers and plans, and ensuring accurate documentation of remedial works. Liaising with internal teams, customers, and asbestos contractors to ensure smooth and compliant service delivery. Strong problem-solving skills. Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work methodically for data capture and entry. HNC/HND level or Degree or equivalent academic attainment, or relevant experience in asbestos surveying, with qualifications such as BOHS P402, P405. Knowledge of asbestos surveying processes and current regulations, with experience in this field. Advanced knowledge of asbestos risk assessment techniques. Experience using asbestos management databases. Good IT skills, including maintenance databases/software and Microsoft Office. Understanding of AutoCAD is advantageous; training will be provided.
