We are currently seeking an interim CMI Lead to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role lasting 7 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation is competitive, up to £61,000 per annum, pro-rata, depending on experience.
The role offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to business needs.
The main purpose of this role is to drive consumer-focused insights for strategic planning and flawless end-to-end execution in social media and sales channels marketing and commerce across touchpoints, in collaboration with the Beauty & Wellbeing CMI team. Key responsibilities include:
* Insights-led content design and measurement for brand world building in media and commerce
* Market development through deployment of innovations and growth hacking of core businesses
* Supporting global brand design teams in local research execution
* Brand design and deployment for Simple brand in UK+I
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the design, innovation, and deployment of insights for Simple skincare in UK+I
* Driving brand insights for new developments, execution, and measurement of brand superiority and experience in Europe
* Enhancing social brand experience insights and measuring improvements across media and sales channels
* Managing social communities insights, influencer marketing, earned & paid media, and community management
* Supporting the Power Brand CMI teams with consumer activations, partnerships, and retail experiences
* Managing relationships with cross-functional teams and agency partners
Key Requirements
* Extensive experience in marketing or market research driving brand growth
* Knowledge of qualitative & quantitative research techniques and experience with in-market data analysis (e.g., Nielsen, KWP, BGS)
* Experience in innovation and communication development
* Strong digital marketing skills and understanding of digital content, influencer marketing, and eCommerce innovation
* Excellent engagement, presentation, and communication skills
* Ability to work remotely with teams
* Ability to challenge norms constructively and influence senior stakeholders
* Curiosity, attention to detail, positive attitude, and self-motivation
* Understanding of the competitive beauty market and consumer trends
Additional Information
Some travel to the Blackfriars, London, office may be required.
