Buttershaw / Hybrid working with regional travel to Yorkshire Water sites
Work type
Permanent, 37 hours/week, Monday to Friday
As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you will join the Asset Health & Performance Team to help monitor and improve asset performance, ensuring reliability, resilience, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
* Develop and optimize asset-specific mechanical monitoring measures
* Propose improvements to mechanical asset performance and resilience
* Review maintenance performance and reliability data to identify risks
* Develop reliability improvement processes
* Provide evidence of improvements and cost savings
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering
* Relevant mechanical maintenance experience, ideally apprentice-trained
* Knowledge of reliability improvement techniques
* Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance
* Proficiency with CMMS (e.g., SAP S4)
* Support and embed change management
Preferred Skills
* Understanding of condition monitoring techniques
* Effective communication skills
* Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Pivot Tables
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel
* Water industry experience
