OUR OPPORTUNITY The Regional Vice President of Sales, EMEA is a vital part of the sales leadership for SH Hotels & Resorts in EMEA. This role has oversight and responsibility for driving top line revenues for properties through optimizing performance. The individual in this role will develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and strengthen hotels’ presence. This individual has strong leadership aptitude and can mentor and inspire sale teams to achieve the utmost success. This individual has the ability to build a broader team over time and has a proven track record within the region. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES A key role that will possess oversight and responsibility for driving revenues and top line for properties. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategiesto exceed revenue targets in all sales segments. Identify opportunities to optimize performance and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation, and driving necessary change. Support hotels’ forecasting S&M expenses and annual budgets. Identify and participate in industry organizations along with trade shows and specialty events which will deliver further exposure to the company. Manage and grow key partnerships accounts. Liaison with hotel ownership/stakeholders. Support new hotel openings from a sales perspective. Provide regular updates to Home Office, highlighting sales performance, opportunities, challenges, and recommended action. Lead and mentor sales teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Ensure regular, ongoing communication occurs with the property sales leadership and GMs. Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to inspire others; advocate sound business decisions; demonstrate honesty and integrity; lead by example. Reports to Vice President of Sales of SH Hotels and Resorts Must-Have’s and Nice to Have’s Based in London Prior experience in a quality luxury hotel brand; specifically, in Sales & Marketing. Previously held multi-site responsibility across hotels, with experience of remote team management. Extensive hotel sales experience within the luxury market; demonstrated strong leadership and selling skills; and proven achievements in selling, optimizing guest and team member engagement and financial performance. Must possess strong presentation skills, exceptional through capabilities and a strong business development acumen. Requires strong time management skills. Experience successfully leading in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing demands. Strong interpersonal, team member relations and leadership abilities, a flexible, dynamic and positive demeanor. Must function optimally in a team environment and possess strength in strategic planning. Well versed in Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management financial aspects. Technically savvy and familiar with Sales & Marketing operating/budgeting systems and spreadsheets. Ability to identify and solve problems. Professional & appropriate business appearance and demeanor aligned with the SH brands and culture. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation. A post-secondary diploma or degree in a field of study related to this profession; 4 years of experience in a comparable position and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with Delphi and HMS or similar Property Management System.
