Bennett Potatoes Ltd is a rapidly developing potato processing and packing company based in Scawby, Brigg, North Lincolnshire. We now have requirement for a Office Receptionist - Part Time role in our business working within a small team to support our continued and planned future growth.
Purpose of the Job
To meet and greet all visitors of the site; dealing with incoming calls and log calls appropriately. This role will also entail: purchase ledger processing, registering of incoming produce loads; filing; ordering of supplies; scanning, photocopying and all other office related duties.
Job Specification
Responsibilities will include:
* To greet all visitors to the site, ensuring all visitor documentation is complete; visitors have the appropriate PPE and are aware of our site rules and protocol.
* To control the incoming vehicles to site and ensure all visitors sign out on departure.
* To receive all incoming calls, logging calls appropriately and taking messages, as required.
* To receipt purchase ledger delivery documents, match deliveries to purchase invoices within your remit, get invoices authorized and process. Investigate any discrepancies.
* To register incoming produce loads, ensuring details and appropriate documents are correct.
* Ordering supplies for the office and factory within your remit.
* Provide cover for office staff absences, as required.
* Produce and compile sales order confirmations, POD's and delivery notes for outgoing sales orders and all associated sales order tasks.
Requirements
To be successful you must have:
* Attention to detail, methodical in prioritising workload and have a high level of accuracy
* Previous Receptionist experience is essential.
* Very good computer skills including excel & word.
* Strong organisational skills with professional and clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
* To work on own initiative
* Assisting in the development of new employees.
* Ensure a safe working environment.
* Be aware of your own Health & Safety and that of others working around you.
Hours - Thursday & Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm = 18 hours per week - Flexibility required around finishing time & possibility of weekend work.
