We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a Graduate Compliance Engineer to join a dynamic team working at the forefront of machinery safety and compliance. About the Role: As a Graduate Compliance Engineer, you will support machinery safety inspections and compliance assessments while receiving full training from senior engineers. You’ll gain hands-on experience in CE/UKCA marking, technical file preparation, and the delivery of safety solutions for complex machinery across various manufacturing sectors. You will also be exposed to the accreditation process of an Approved Body and contribute to safe machine design projects. The role involves travel within the UK and occasional international assignments. Key Responsibilities: Assist with machinery safety inspections in diverse industrial environments. Support the preparation and review of technical documentation for CE/UKCA marking. Learn to provide technical advice on safe machine design under expert guidance. Contribute to internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities. Participate in compliance and accreditation processes alongside experienced engineers. Apply engineering principles to real-world safety and design challenges. What We're Looking For: A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline). A genuine interest in machinery, manufacturing, and industrial safety. A proactive, hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical regulations. Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK (a full driving licence is desirable).
