Job Purpose The Surveyor is responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and customer-focused property surveys for cavity wall and loft insulation. The role supports organisational objectives by ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high standards of service delivery in line with Energystores values and governance requirements. Key Responsibilities Technical & Professional Expertise Conduct pre-installation cavity wall and loft insulation surveys in accordance with industry standards and governing body requirements Produce accurate technical drawings, specifications, and quotations Inspect completed installation and extraction works to ensure quality, compliance, and certification requirements are met Apply practical knowledge of cavity wall insulation to assess suitability, risk, and compliance Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure all surveys and recommendations comply with health and safety legislation and safe working practices Identify hazards and risks and provide clear guidance to installation teams Support compliance with scheme rules, agreement certificates, and governing body requirements Planning, Organisation & Delivery Develop and provide accurate programmes to support survey management of Energystore franchisee works Coordinate product delivery to meet contractual timescales Manage workload effectively while travelling across the province to meet operational demands Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring timely submission to the Administration team Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Communicate effectively with homeowners, installers, office staff, and franchise partners Provide clear instructions and technical guidance to installation teams Maintain effective internal communication to support the smooth delivery of projects Customer Focus Deliver a high standard of customer service from initial contact through to project completion Build positive relationships with homeowners through professional conduct and clear communication Act as a positive representative of Energystore and its values Leadership & People Skills Provide guidance, instruction, and support to installation teams Demonstrate people management skills where required to support safe and efficient delivery of works Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Commercial Awareness & Business Development Identify and generate new leads and business opportunities Contribute to business growth by supporting efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery Values & Professional Behaviour Actively promote and demonstrate Energystores core values in all aspects of work Always maintain a professional and presentable appearance Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement Essential Competencies Technical competence strong practical knowledge of cavity wall insulation Health & safety awareness sound understanding of relevant legislation and safe systems of work Customer orientation consistently delivers excellent customer service Communication clear, professional, and effective verbal and written communication Planning & organising able to manage workload, priorities, and deadlines Problem solving & analysis able to assess issues, identify risks, and implement solutions Adaptability & resilience works effectively under pressure and responds positively to change Experience & Qualifications Practical experience in cavity wall insulation surveying People management or team leadership experience Ability to work independently and produce accurate reports Full, current driving licence Skills: surveyor cavity wall insulation Supervisory Skills Health & Safety full driving licence Benefits: pension life assurance
