About the Role
As a Powered Access Engineer, you will split your time between workshop-based maintenance and mobile service work across Derbyshire.
You will be responsible for:
11. Servicing and repairing Genie equipment, cherry pickers and scissor lifts
12. Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
13. Completing pre-delivery inspections
14. Attending breakdowns using a fully equipped company van
15. Ensuring all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
This Powered Access Engineer role offers autonomy, variety and consistent hours with optional overtime available.
About You
To be successful in this Powered Access Engineer position, you may have:
16. Experience working on powered access equipment
17. Knowledge of Genie machinery, cherry pickers or scissor lifts
18. Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
19. A full UK driving licence
20. A CAP qualification (desirable but not essential)
21. A proactive and reliable approach to work
