Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the team on our Kent County Council project based in West Malling, Kent.
The purpose of the role will be to manage the effective safe delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Works via the in-house Engineering team supporting the General Manager in ensuring statutory mandatory and contractual obligations are met in a timely and professional manner.
You’ll:
1. Demonstrate you have effective control and governance systems in place to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
2. Evaluate the efficiency of such controls and improve them continuously.
3. Produce reports periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
4. Coordinate and facilitate asset management reviews.
5. Review the business’s lifecycle relevant to your package to identify possible compliance risks
6. Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in asset management.
We’re looking for:
7. A Recognised qualification or certification in a statutory discipline or asset management
8. Excellent customer care and flexible approach to working practices.
9. Proven experience in a compliance role
10. Knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations pertinent to package
11. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping and reporting
