Working Pattern:

30 hours per week (4 days per week but working pattern is flexible)

Job Details

The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver training, learning, and support that drives digital skills and digital learning priorities across Fife Council. To be responsible for collaborative project work and the provision of consultancy support that drives Corporate and Directorate requirements relating to digital skills, learning, digital optimisation and transformation, and performance improvement through organisational development.

You will lead and contribute to transformational training and development programmes and activities across the organisation to improve both individual services and wider organisational effectiveness through digital skills and learning. You will develop and deliver courses, webinars, bitesize/micro learning and other creative learning solutions from initial development and design to delivery and evaluation, including redesign as necessary.

Your main duties will include:

* Being part of Fife Councils project to establish and effectively run a Digital Champions network across the workforce

* Creating and delivering learning solutions based around the Councils use of the Microsoft 365 suite of products and our Oracle cloud system (employee & manager HR self-service, Procurement, Recruitment, Learning management system & eLearning platform)

* Maintaining and further developing our internal employee digital support sites (built using SharePoint)

* Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of programmes and projects

This role requires the ability to work at different locations throughout Fife, as well as regularly visiting our office base of Fife House in Glenrothes, however we have a blended approach allowing homeworking for the remainder of your working time.

The Person

You must be educated to SCQF level 8, preferably in a technology related subject (this includes HND or SQV level 4). You should have strong digital skills, knowledge, and mindset, with post qualification experience within a learning and development setting and you will also have experience in digital skills training design and delivery.

You will have the ability to organise work, ensuring quality control and delivery to deadlines while working autonomously

You will need to evidence the ability to engage staff at all levels, while also to providing advice to colleagues and an ability to reconcile conflicting viewpoints and demands.

Analytical skills are required to research, interpret and present complex information derived from a range of sources, and identifying options and best practice in digital skills development.
