Responsibilities
* Perform domestic gas work, including testing, boiler isolation, gas pipe works, reconnecting appliances, gas inspections, fitting parts, fault finding, and certifying all work.
* Carry out plumbing duties: replacement and repair of toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, installation and repair of pipework, taps, ball valves, stop taps, and other fittings.
* Repair water main supplies, soil stacks, domestic drainage, rainwater systems, burst pipes, leaks, blockages.
* Work from job tickets or a handheld device daily.
* Ensure all work meets safety standards and complete necessary paperwork.
* Maintain an outstanding service to customers in their homes.
* Follow Novus’ Health & Safety policies and standards.
* Work at height as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of ACS, CKR1, CCN1, CENWAT/CEN1, HTR1 & CPA1 certifications.
* NVQ in plumbing.
* Confirmed experience in domestic gas work and plumbing.
* Knowledge or experience with wet‑room pumps beneficial.
* Experience with vented and unvented gas systems desirable.
* Full UK driving licence and confident driver.
* DBS check required.
* Evidence of qualifications or training held.
* Ability to independently manage day and workload effectively.
* Willingness to work as part of a team to deliver a great service.
