Were currently recruiting for a Shift Technician (Electrical Bias) to join our engineering team in Belfast. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary of £38,000, working a rotating days and nights shift pattern across the full week (Monday to Sunday). You'll be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment to ensure high levels of safety, reliability, and performance across the site. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Diagnose and repair faults on motors, control panels, sensors, PLCs, and other industrial electrical systems. Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis efforts to reduce downtime. Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures and documentation requirements. What We're Looking For: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline. Strong hands-on experience in an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing, industrial, or process environment. Solid understanding of electrical fault finding and diagnostic techniques. Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation (advantageous). Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
