Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Cement Terminal / Manufacturing Site
Shift Pattern: Day-based with flexibility required
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate all plant maintenance activities across our terminal operations. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be accountable for maintenance performance, safety, and reliability, ensuring plant equipment operates efficiently and in line with business objectives.
This is a hands-on leadership role, with an approximate 70/30 split between engineering activity and supervisory/administrative duties, offering the opportunity to remain technically engaged while developing people, processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and organise all mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs and improvement activities
Lead, motivate and supervise Electrical and Mechanical Craftspersons and the Day Work Team
Liaise closely with Packed Products Electrical teams and other site process teams to optimise maintenance planning and timing
Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and internal Safety, Health and Environmental standards
Support management of the Mechanical and Electrical maintenance budget
Review KPIs and maintenance performance, using best-practice reporting tools
Lead and participate in team meetings, promoting engagement and continuous improvement
Carry out annual Performance and Development Meetings (PDMs) and identify training needs
Maintain a strong working knowledge of S.E.T plant and equipment and logistics maintenance systems
Provide out-of-hours support when required and work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing or cement environment (highly desirable)
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance
Experience with cement handling systems, including bulk loading and packing operations
Proven experience supervising or leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment
Sound understanding of electrical isolation proceduresSkills & Attributes

Conscientious, proactive and safety-focused
Self-motivated with the ability to work at all levels of the organisation
Comfortable engaging with contractors, operators and senior management
