Role
You'll provide a flexible, responsive and professional service to Production and Projects. Reporting into the Production Manager, your main responsibilities would include;
1. Provide full electrical service in vehicle configuration, test, diagnostics and repair
2. Actively participate in the vehicle production processes
3. Diagnose and repair electrical issues in ICE and EVs
4. Utilise your expertise to ensure high quality repairs
5. Actively sharing information and skills within the Team to increase and improve production quality
Skills and Experience
6. Proven experience as an auto electrician/vehicle technician
7. Knowledge of electrical part design, manufacture and integration within vehicle electrical architecture
8. Experience in the Automotive industry would be advantageous
9. Can provide proof of a recognised formal qualification such as an Advanced Apprenticeship equivalent to an NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds
Practical and Technical Knowledge
10. Knowledge of electrical test and configuration systems
11. Electrical harness drawings knowledge
12. Knowledge of production and workshop test equipment e.g. IDEX, VAS, CP Tool, ODIS
13. Logical approach to problem identification and solving
