Location: Field-based with nationwide travel | Office base in Oxfordshire Contract: Full-time, permanent Salary: £40,000-£50,000 (DOE, based on field service experience) Car Allowance: £5,000 + mileage

The Role
We're currently supporting our client in finding a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join their UK team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong technical sales background who enjoys being on the road, building meaningful customer relationships, and delivering real value through tailored engineering solutions.
Based out of the company's UK headquarters in Oxfordshire, you'll spend most of your time travelling nationwide to manage and develop customer accounts. When not on the road, you'll be expected in the office, with the flexibility to work from home considered after your probation.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging technical and sales presentations and product demonstrations
Work closely with the Sales & Technical Manager to grow new and existing accounts
Generate leads, negotiate pricing, and manage the full sales cycle
Provide post-sales support, including installation queries and product troubleshooting
Collaborate with internal sales teams and provide technical guidance as needed
Hit individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals
Deliver training on technical products to non-technical colleagues
What We're Looking For
Experience in technical sales and customer account management
Strong knowledge of engineering, welding, or fabrication (NVQ qualifications are desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information clearly
A solutions-driven approach with a strong commercial mindset
Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
Comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays (some international travel may be required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally some ERP/CRM system experience (training provided)
Full UK driving licence (clean)
