Hays Education is currently recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join weing schools in the Wellingborough area.
You’ll be responsible for:
1. Delivering personalised one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs
2. Collaborating with class teachers and SENCOs to implement and monitor individual education plans (IEPs)
3. Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning space
4. Supporting pupils withmunication, sensory, and emotional challenges
5. Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and inclusive learning activities
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
6. A patient, empathetic, and resilient mindset
7. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills
8. Prior experience working with children with SEN (in schools or other settings) is highly desirable.
9. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial, though not essential.
