Job Title: Van Driver Location: Doncaster & Barnsley Salary: £12.21 - £13.69 per hour Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 7 4/5pm About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Van Drivers. This is a great opportunity for someone with driving experience who enjoys being on the road and delivering excellent customer service. You will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections in a safe, timely, and professional manner, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and care for the vehicle and goods. Key Responsibilities Safely operating a 3.5T van for deliveries and collections Planning routes and ensuring timely deliveries Loading/unloading goods, ensuring items are handled with care Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point What we are looking for: Minimum 2 years - v alid UK Driving Licence Previous van driving/multi-drop (however, not essential) Good knowledge of local and national road networks Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Able to handle manual loading/unloading if required No more than 6 points What We Offer Competitive hourly rate overtime Ongoing, regular work with the potential for permanent opportunities Weekly pay Supportive team environment Modern, well-maintained vehicles About Driver Hire: Driver Hire Doncaster is part of Driver Hire Nationwide, the UKs largest specialist transport and logistics recruiter.
