By joining our team as a student Midwife, you will have the opportunity to develop and consolidate your skills and knowledge during an innovative Preceptorship with dedicated clinical and pastoral support provided by our Preceptorship Lead Midwives.
Our pathway involves rotation across all areas of our Maternity Services, working in Outpatients, Low and High risk Birth settings, and on our Maternity ward.
Our service is continually changing and evolving to meet the needs of the population and ensure women and their families have a positive birthing experience. We are a very friendly and supportive team, keen to gain the best out of every midwife and provide a range of opportunities for career development.
The role will require midwives who have the passion to provide kind, safe, and personalised midwifery care, acting as advocates for women and their families throughout pregnancy and birth.
Our midwives work across a 7-day week to meet the demands of providing 24/7 care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
