As a Senior Care Assistant at Sedgley Court, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. Our residents are people with their own stories, and joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give something back to them. You will plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence, and you will get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
You will lead a team of Care Assistants and be a positive influence on the rest of the team. Your responsibilities include maintaining high standards of care and supporting residents in daily activities, including helping with meals, mobility, and engaging in social and recreational activities. You will also be involved in administering medication and providing essential physical and mental stimulation.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training as needed.
