This is a fast-paced role suited to someone with strong administration and scheduling experience within repairs and maintenance or social housing environments. The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident managing engineers' diaries, and have strong knowledge of scheduler rates.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and planning engineers' diaries efficiently
Scheduling repairs and maintenance appointments
Strong understanding and knowledge of scheduler rates
Liaising with operatives, supervisors, tenants, and clients
Handling incoming calls, emails, and job updates
Ensuring works are allocated effectively to maximise productivity
Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring deadlines are met
Providing general administrative support to the repairs team
Skills & Experience
Previous experience within repairs scheduling or maintenance administration
Strong knowledge of scheduler rates is essential
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Experience planning and managing multiple diaries
Background in social housing or property maintenance preferred
Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
Able to work effectively in a busy office environment
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and scheduling systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
